The final that's a wrap was called in Wisconsin at about 9 o'clock on Tuesday evening. During the next few days each department packed up and moved out. The last crew members will be leaving the area in the coming days.
We want to send out a huge THANK YOU to everyone that helped us make this film. From the people who made the crew meals and snacks, to the people that let us borrow different items for props, the extras who sat on set with us for hours, the people that opened up their doors so we could film or have our holding inside, along with many others who helped in countless ways. We could not have done anything without the help and support of the entire community. The cast and crew truly felt welcome and we thank you for that.
Now we move on to our LA shoot. Two days of filming and we will be completely wrapped with our principal photography. Then it is on to post production.
Feed the Fish -- WISH-LIST

Get Ready To Plunge!
Here is your chance to be in "Feed the Fish"! We rescheduled our Polar Bear Plunge from last Saturday to tomorrow (Wednesday, 2/25/09). People that want to jump or be extras for the plunge scene come to Rowley's Bay, in the town of Ellison Bay, Door County. Check-in begins at 10am at the Wagon Trail Lodge. Bring warm clothes to change into and shoes to plunge in. We hope to see you there!

Today is day two of week three. We have passed the halfway mark of our Wisconsin shoot and let me tell you, that is a weird feeling.
So remember when I said we needed more snow because everything was melting, well we got our wish. Except the snow came on one of the only days we really didn't want it to come.
Yesterday we were going to recreate the Polar Bear Plunge. We had 100 people as extras to watch the plungers and about 60 people ready to actually plunge. Everyone was excited and ready to go but the weather was just not cooperating. Who knew that the Polar Bear Plunge could be canceled because of snow? I sure didn't, but its true. I guess the wind was bad and the snow made it hard to see and the ice was pretty dangerous. I felt bad because everyone was so excited to be there. I saw people dressed up in costumes and in bathing suites. I know people came from a long way and had to turn around and go back home after a disappointing day. I was even disappointed but that's the movie-making business. The grips and electrics can make it look like it's day when it's actually night with the lights. The art department can turn a dingy old room into something brand new and wardrobe can make a brand new shirt look 10 years old. But the weather...we have no control over the weather.
So we did not end up getting our shots of the Plunge on Saturday but we will be reattempting the Plunge again on Wednesday of this week.
Stay tuned for the location but...get ready to Plunge!
